Girlstart Summer Camp 'to Go'

The magic of to-go camp continued at the Boys and Girls Club of Elgin July 11-15. Camp Hermione explores the science behind many of the magical scenes in Harry Potter, such as Quidditch and potions. The Triwizard Maze is just one of the scenes that came to life at camp. After discussing the law of conservation of energy, campers designed their own Triwizard marble maze and explored the potential and kinetic energy of the marble. The girls loved learning this and more through activities that discover the science of sorcery!
